HUD is a U.S. government agency that increases home ownership, supports community development and increases access to affordable housing through local community partnerships. HUD offers free or low-cost counseling throughout the country. Their counselors can help you create a monthly budget plan to keep your mortgage payments up to date. Financial Documents You Should Have Ready
There are a few documents that you might find useful to have on hand when speaking to either your person lender or a housing counselor.

- Recent income documents such as:
